ANNUAL FORUM FOR FASHION-BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES BELARUS FASHION FORUM WILL BE HELD NOVEMBER 16-17!
Belarus Fashion Forum is an annual educational platform where experts and practicing professionals from different countries share their experience in different areas of fashion business. The main objective of the forum is to discuss practical experience in the field of fashion and the specifics of running a fashion business in the EU, as well as international experience of entering a new market, increasing sales, effective assortment planning, doing business in the information technology era, creating a collection ahead of trends.
The following experts will take part in the business program:
Matteo Bardi - art director of Green Carpet, a fashion expert and a hunter of a stylish product from Europe for the Asian market, is the owner of The Hive Showroom. The owner of the studio Mattori, scout trend agency MIPEL. He is a keynote speaker at international seminars in the fashion industry in Italy, a fashion-journalist.
During the Belarus Fashion Forum, Matteo will share his experience and talk about how to draw the attention of the buyer in an era of great competition and globalization.
Kidest Teklu is a program officer in the cotton, textile and clothing sector at the International Trade Center (ITC).
Within the framework of the forum Kidest will cover the topic of advanced training and export competitiveness in the fashion industry.
Simona Ironico is an experienced academic with a doctoral degree in marketing and business communication. Currently, she is the program manager for a three-year fashion business course at the Marangoni Institute in Milan, where she works as a senior lecturer in the field of fashion marketing, research methods and the sociology of fashion.
As part of her speech in Minsk, Simona will pay particular attention to the strategic marketing of fashion companies, in particular branding.
Yana Chirko is an adviser to the Russian practice of international law firm Dentons in the field of IP, IT and telecommunications, as well as a partner of the center for producing projects in the field of fashion and high technology Dimension Link. She has been consulting on the laws of the two countries (Russia and Belarus) and has been specializing in fashion law, intellectual property law, legal regulation of the Internet, e-commerce, information technology and intellectual property management for over 10 years.
Yana will hold a legal workshop on technologies in the field of fashion and talk about how to protect her brand in the digital age.
Julius Forgo is a stylist, art director and fashion consultant. He has experience with companies such as Burberry, Nike, Diesel, Vogue · L´oréal, Spiegel, Goethe Institut, ESMOD, Coca Cola, DHL and many others.
During the forum, Julius will share his experience and talk about the role of style in creating fashion campaigns.
Fiona Coleman has earned an international reputation as a color and trend forecasting consultant for brands and retailers. She began her career as a designer for brands such as Paul Smith, Uniqlo, M&S, Benetton and Evisu. Then she spent 10 years in WGSN, presenting trends in China, the USA, Europe and South America for 2-3 years ahead. Speaking regularly at trade shows, Fiona is also a university teacher and works with Intercolor, a global platform for research and development in the field of color trends.
At the Belarus Fashion Forum, Fiona will share the trends of the autumn-winter 2019-2020 season.
Katya Rabota - BE IN OPEN Project Editor Katya believes that today, in order to remain modern and in demand on the market, it is important to build a competent content strategy.
