CULTURE, TRADITIONS AND BELARUSIAN DESIGNERS - "CALADNA ZORKA" TOOK PLACE THE MIR CASTLE
On the eve of the New Year holidays Mir Castle opened it’s doors for members of Belarus Fashion Council. Designers from all over Belarus came to present individual collection of New Year's toys, enjoy the architecture and history of Mir Castle and perform traditional dances. The organizers of the event: the association of designers Belarus Fashion Council and the museum “Mir Castle Complex”.
Just before the winter holidays the designers of the Belarusian Fashion House created a unique collection of New Year decorations inspired by the history and legends of Mir Castle - a real gem of the Belarusian heritage! The collection includes works by Belarusian designers such as Natalia Korzh (Natalia Korzh), Olga Deiko (Blackberry), Natalya Balashevskaya (Fashion Dolls), Polina Lokun (WOMEN Fashion Brand), Tatyana Efremova (T.Efremova), Polina Voronova and Larisa Atamanova (Historia Naturalis), Larisa Balunova (Balunova Fashion Design Studio), Jovanna S Couture, Veronika Chernik (FUNDUK Bags), Evlin Obeid Youssef, Julia Mednik and Tatyana Lavrenova (UNO MÁS UNO), Lyudmila Yuras, Irina Rombak, Olga Starostina, Olga Radyuk, Ekaterina Sugak, as well as their New Year balls were presented by the Belarusian Fashion Chamber and the school of fashion illustration Fantasy Room.
In that collection designers turned to the most unusual sources of inspiration: for example, the designer of the FUNDUK Bags brand used the legend of the apple garden, and the designers of the Historia Naturalis brand were inspired by a unique architectural style - Belarusian Gothic, inherent to the style of Mir Castle. Natalya Balashevskaya, Fashion Dolls brand designer, created a New Year's ball recreating the legend of Mir Castle about mysterious bathers.
Organizers of the event also presented nicotine-free pouches without tobacco - VELO - an innovative product with a reduced health risk compared to regular smoking from British American Tobacco. Each guest was able to try new product and receive gifts from our partner!
At the end of the evening a gala dinner was held. Guests could relax after a busy day and enjoy the delicious Italian wine Castello Monaci.
The festive spruce, decorated with a collection of New Year's toys from Belarusian designers, will be exhibited in the Portrait Hall of Mir Castle until January 19.It is free to see, and guests can also join the charity event, leaving a gift for the children who lack attention and affection. Gifts will be sent to the students of the institution “Zhuravichi boarding house for children with disabilities with special needs in psychophysical development” in the Gomel region and to the State educational institution “Socio-pedagogical center of Korelichi district”.
